Ready, set, draw! Campers are invited to discover the magic of comic strips. After reading a variety of comic books/strips we will learn to write snappy dialogue (less is better), design awesome characters, and tell a complete story using panels with vibrant and active drawings. Campers will then work on creating stories to fill a blank comic book. They can choose to create several short comics, a few longer ones, or one story/theme that would fill the whole book. No prior drawing experience is needed—just a big imagination and a desire to create! All materials will be provided but campers should bring a snack and water bottle each day.
