The Dumb Ox

Our student newspaper, The Dumb Ox, was founded in 1999. High school students enrolled in the Journalism elective write, edit, and publish articles on a monthly basis. Student writers focus on topics relevant to the Aquinas community including school activities, local events, Catholic subjects, and pop culture. With guidance from faculty advisors, student editors lead class meetings, facilitate the journalistic writing process, and pace the publication schedule. The student publisher carefully crafts each issue’s design and finalizes the issue to be shared with the Aquinas community.
