Lucy Zaharko '16

Lucy Zaharko ’16, was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army! 2LT Zaharko’s family from all over, including siblings in Alaska and Chicago, were very excited for her and happy to be able to watch her May 16th commissioning in the Army’s first-ever virtual commissioning ceremony. The next day, May 17th, she graduated virtually from Case Western Reserve University. 2LT Zaharko passed her nursing boards on June 23rd and will start at Fort Sam Houston this fall.
