Sacramental Life
At Aquinas Academy, the Sacraments are an integral part of students' lives. To live a sacramental life is to be deeply immersed in the life and prayer of the Church, with liturgy serving as the heart of this experience. Living a life close to the sacraments better prepares us for all of life's challenges.
Daily Mass offers us the most profound way to engage with God’s grace. We are blessed to have local priests offer Mass for our students four days a week. Our students also have frequent opportunities to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Our curriculum repeatedly reviews all seven sacraments in age-appropriate ways, with the second and eighth grades receiving a higher level of formation in preparation for First Communions and Confirmations.
“The Eucharist is the Sacrament of Love; It signifies Love, it produces Love. The Eucharist is the consummation of the whole spiritual life.”
St. THomas Aquinas
